1. Our Services
Home Appliance Professionals provides diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation services for domestic household appliances throughout our service areas.
Our services include, but are not limited to:

- Dishwasher Repairs
- Refrigerator & Freezer Repairs
- Oven Repairs
- Cooktop Repairs
- Stove Repairs
- Microwave Repairs
- Rangehood Repairs
All services are subject to technician availability and service location.
2. Booking Appointments
Appointments may be booked by phone, email, online enquiry, or through our website.
When making a booking, customers agree to provide accurate information including:
- Name
- Contact details
- Service address
- Appliance brand and model (if available)
- Description of the fault
Appointment times are estimates only. While we make every effort to arrive on schedule, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic, previous repairs, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Diagnosis and Quotations
Our technician will inspect your appliance and diagnose the fault before commencing any repair work.
Following the diagnosis, we will provide an estimate or quotation for the recommended repair. No repair work requiring additional charges will be carried out without your approval.
Quotes are valid for the period advised at the time they are issued.
4. Service Fees
A service call or diagnostic fee may apply to attend your property and inspect the appliance.
The service fee covers the technician’s visit and fault diagnosis only unless otherwise stated.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Replacement parts
- Additional labour
- Major repairs
- Return visits where required
- Appliances located in difficult-to-access areas
All pricing will be discussed with the customer before repair work proceeds.
5. Spare Parts
Where replacement parts are required:
- Genuine or high-quality compatible parts may be supplied depending on availability.
- Parts availability is subject to supplier stock.
- Delivery delays from manufacturers are beyond our control.
- Additional visits may be required if parts need to be ordered.
Ownership of supplied parts remains with Home Appliance Professionals until payment has been received in full.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
We may accept various payment methods including EFTPOS, bank transfer, and major credit or debit cards.
Late or unpaid accounts may incur recovery costs where permitted by law.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should notify us as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee where:
- The technician has already been dispatched.
- The customer is unavailable at the agreed appointment time.
- Access to the property cannot be obtained.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance.
- Ensure electricity, gas, and water supplies are available where required.
- Remove personal belongings that may obstruct repairs.
- Advise us of any known safety hazards before our technician arrives.
If unsafe working conditions exist, our technician may refuse or postpone the repair.
9. Repair Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship.
Where applicable, repairs may include a workmanship warranty and manufacturer warranty on replacement parts.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or accidental damage
- Power surges
- Water damage
- Incorrect installation by others
- Unrelated faults occurring after the repair
- Appliances that have been modified or repaired by another party after our service
Warranty claims must be reported promptly after the issue is identified.
10. Limitation of Liability
While we use reasonable care and skill when providing our services, Home Appliance Professionals is not liable for:
- Pre-existing appliance faults
- Hidden defects discovered during repair
- Loss of food caused by refrigeration failures
- Loss of business or income
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Delays caused by unavailable parts or supplier shortages
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude your statutory rights.
12. Website Use
Information on our website is provided for general information only.
While we aim to keep all content accurate and current, we make no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or availability.
We may update or modify website content without prior notice.
13. Intellectual Property
